Itinerary
Upon your arrival, at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) on Day 1 you will receive a welcome from your driver guide. After ensuring that all your belongings are accounted for we will proceed to transfer you to your hotel, in Arusha for an evening of relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
After enjoying your morning meal your day kicks off with a drive, to Tarangire National Park in Tanzania. This park, the largest in the country is known for its elephant population and iconic baobab trees that tower over the wildlife below. The park is renowned for its array of animals including wildebeests and zebras that roam freely amidst the woodlands and along the Tarangire River after which the park is named. In addition to these you'll encounter buffaloes, giraffes, fringe eared oryx gazelles, impalas, mongooses, hartebeests, crocodiles and hippos inhabiting this sanctuary. They graze on shoots, bushes, grasses, acacias and hunt prey to sustain themselves.Tarangire is also a haven for bird enthusiasts with over 600 species recorded .You'll have your midday meal at a designated picnic spot, within the park before winding down with dinner and spending the night there.
After enjoying a morning meal at your accommodation we will embark on a wildlife viewing adventure, en route to Ngorongoro Crater. Along the journey you will immerse yourself in the Maasai traditions. The Crater is home to an array of animals such as lions, zebras, elephants and other local wildlife. It is also a location for spotting the black rhinoceros. Following this exploration you will be transported back to your accommodation, for dinner and an overnight stay.
We'll start our day with a breakfast. Then make our way, to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the journey we'll make stops at some spots for you to capture some photos. Once we've enjoyed watching the animals in Serengeti you'll be taken to your lodge for dinner and a nights rest.
These days offer a chance to plan your activities at your pace. You can start with an early morning game drive head back, to the lodge for a breakfast and then set off again with packed lunches for another round of wildlife exploration. The Serengeti National Park boasts landscapes. Is renowned as one of the worlds top wildlife sanctuaries, covering an expansive area of 14,673 square kilometers. The park derives its name from the term "Siringiti " meaning an open plain. This endless expanse of wilderness offers views. Serves as a home to a diverse range of mammals, birds and reptiles unmatched by any other African parks or reserves.
In addition to its rolling savannahs and woodlands the Serengeti is famous for hosting the wildebeest migration phenomenon and is considered prime territory for observing majestic big cats in their natural habitat.
Encounters with herds of elephants giraffes nibbling on acacia trees lions strategizing their hunt on buffalo herds or hyenas scavenging on zebra carcasses are not uncommon sights during your game drives. Keep your eyes peeled for cheetahs, on the prowl crocodiles basking in riverbanks hippos wallowing in waterholes elusive leopards blending into the shadows gazelles grazing peacefully warthogs trotting around nervously jackals scouting for opportunities impalas showcasing their agility. Some of the fascinating creatures you may come across during your safari adventures.
Over 400 different bird species, such, as Ostriches, Vultures, Starlings and Secretary birds inhabit this area and are frequently seen during your game drives. Enjoy dinner. Spend the night at.
You'll start your day with breakfast, at your lodge. Then your guide will take you to Lake Manyara National Park for its tree climbing lions. Along the way you'll soak in views of the Rift Valley escarpment. During your safari in the park you'll have lunch before embarking on a game drive to spot wildlife species, like giraffes, elephants, impalas, buffalos, zebras and waterbucks. Wrap up the day with a dinner. Spend the night there.
After a breakfast you will board a flight, to Zanzibar. Upon arrival you will be greeted by a tour guide who will provide an overview of your Zanzibar tour. Spend the evening exploring the island.
During your stay, in Zanzibar plan to allocate two days for exploring the captivating attractions of this island. Embark on a journey to sites such as the historical town tour, Lake Zanzibar Spice Tour, Stone Town Tour and other significant tourist spots. It's your departure day to head home. Start your morning with breakfast. Then enjoy some relaxation, on the beach. Afterwards make sure to leave for the airport in time, for your flight.
